Drop n' Chicken, Chessington World of Adventures Restaurant Rebrand

As specialists within the food and beverage industry, our team knew how vital the path to purchase customer journey would be, especially as Chessington welcome 1.69 million visitors in 2019 alone. We developed a signage strategy that would entice users into the restaurant from vantage points around the park. We then printed and installed several large signs that included 3D printed apertures to enhance the immersive customer dining experience.

What we did

We combined several of our design, marketing and signage solutions to create a striking Egyptian themed restaurant that heightened the experience of the Croc Drop ride.

Starting with a brand discovery workshop, our design experts came up with a new name and brand identity for the restaurant.

The results

The team at Merlin loved the initial concept that incorporated the Egyptian and crocodile theme of the ride. Once the initial design had been agreed, we created wider promotional material, including content development for menus, digital assets, and signage.
